Meeting called to order by Jill Kurowski at 6:20 pm.

A motion was made to accept the March 6, 2014 minutes as printed. Motion: Shelly Primus, 2nd Marilynn Blommel. The motion was adopted. Treasurer’s Report was presented through May 2014. Ending balance is $4,437.17
Old Business: Dues: Remain the same; Easter: Was a success, good attendance; Calendar of Events: No response. New Business: GEM Fest – July 18, 19, 20, 2014
• Garage Sales and Farmers Market: Saturday only. We have 15 paid farmer’s market/vendors/crafters for the farmer’s market. For more information call Jill 285-7780. An ad will be run in the Hometown News.
• Kid’s Carnival and Kid’s Tractor Pull will be held right after the parade. 1st, and 2nd place will be awarded to each age group – 3-12 years. Lions will provide the ribbons.
Participation Award: Check with Shirley Hulinsky regarding if the American Dairy Association has a cooler with ice cream. We could give tokens for an ice cream treat to all participants. We are renting the kiddie tractor pull from Upsala FFA.
• Parade: Hand out flyer with information of upcoming events.
• National Night Out: August 5, 2014. The Community Choir has been invited to sing. We will invite the Grey Eagle Fire and Rescue department. Get to know your neighbors. Root beer floats will be served. 60 people attended in 2013. Sheriff will be invited. • Concerts: Slewfoot, date to be determined?
• Business Spotlight: Continuing to submit articles to the Hometown News. If your business has not yet been featured, please contact Jill and submit a questionnaire form so you can be featured in the Hometown News. • Community Builders flyer: Jill is looking for the template for the flyer.
