On September 13, 2021, at approximately 10:53 a.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a call of a single-vehicle rollover crash on 300th Street, east of County Road 41 in Farming Township. This location is approximately three miles south of the city of Albany.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that the sole occupant and driver, Brayden Roerick, 16, of Albany, had been traveling west on 300th Street in Farming Township in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado when he lost control of the vehicle. The truck proceeded into the ditch where it rolled several times before coming to a rest in a soybean field. Roerick was able to call for help and was treated at the scene and released. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office responded, as well as Albany Fire and Rescue and Melrose Ambulance.
