Funeral services will be on Monday, November 9th at 11:00 AM at River of Life Church in Long Prairie for LaDonna Sommerville, age 59, who passed away on October 31, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her dearly and will forever cherish her memory. Josiah Tunder will officiate and burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
Born on May 31, 1967, LaDonna’s life was a precious gift, and while her time here on earth has come to an end, we find comfort in the promise of eternal life through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
LaDonna is survived by her beloved son, Justin Sommerville; her parents, Wayne and Martha Ruth; her brother, Stacy Ruth, his wife, Valerie; her nephews, Isaiah and Jace, and her special friend, Bob Soule.
May LaDonna’s memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. With a warm smile and a welcoming hug, she had a special way of making others feel loved. She will be remembered for her unconditional love for family and friends, her contagious laughter, and her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures—fishing, caring for her beloved pets, playing cards and games, and, above all, sharing laughter and creating cherished memories with those she held dear.
