The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 10-26-2024 at approximately 4:39 pm, their office received a report of a two-vehicle accident on 250th Avenue near Nature Road, approximately seven miles east of Royalton, MN in Buckman Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 17-year-old juvenile male of Bowlus, MN was traveling north on 250th Avenue. 65-year-old Susan Boyd of Hoyt Lakes, MN was also traveling north on 250th Avenue behind the juvenile. Boyd stated when she came up behind the juvenile’s vehicle, she didn’t realize it was moving slow. Boyd slammed on her brakes but could not stop in time and struck the juveniles vehicle on the roadway. Boyd was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Royalton Police Department, MLMB First Response Team and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
