The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 9-10-2019 at approximately 5:06 am, their office received a report of a domestic assault involving a knife at the Eastwood Inn Apartments, City of Motley, MN. When deputies arrived to investigate they learned the suspect had left the scene on foot into the nearby woods.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect, 50-year-old Michael Rogers of Motley, MN was located in a field near the woods. Rogers was taken into custody by Motley Police and transported to the Morrison County Jail where he is being held pending charges for 1st Degree Domestic Assault, Terroristic Threats, Obstructing Legal Process and Criminal Damage to Property. The victim was transported by Staples Ambulance to Staples Hospital with unknown injuries.
