Description: Fire
On 2-14-2017 at 1214 hours, A house fire was reported at 35682 133 ave south west of Eagle Bend, Eagle Bend and Clarissa Fie Departments responded to the scene, the house was a total lose, The house was owned by Daniel Danielson who was not home at the time of the fire.

02/14/17 08:17 10566 County 11, Sauk Centre Theft
On 2-14-2017 Evette Nauvontay reported that her Garbage can had been stolen some time on Friday the 10th, the can was taken from her residence near Fairy Lake on County Road 11. The can is green in color and has West Central Sanitation written on it.

02/14/17 04:59 COUNTY 12 / FITZ RD, BURTRUM, MN 56318 Car Deer
On 2-14-2017 at 0459 hours, Mark Proctor of rural Burtrum reported he had hit a deer on County Road 12 near Fitz Road east of Long Prairie wit his 2008 Chevy Colorado truck causing front end damage. Proctor was not injured in the accident.

02/13/17 17:52 Pine Island Lake, Browerville Theft
On 2/13/2017 the Todd County Sheriffs Office responded to burglary at Pine Island Lake in Turtle Creek Township. Sometime between the hours of 1:00 am and 6:30 pm someone broke into a fish house and took several items including a Vexilar and underwater camera. Anyone with information on this burglary is asked to contact the Todd County Sheriffs Office.

02/13/17 15:42 County 36 / County 38, LONG PRAIRIE, MN 56347 Car Deer
On 02-12-2017 at approximately 1930 hours William Tomford of rural Long Prairie was traveling on County Road 36, approximately two miles west of County Road 38, when a deer struck his 2012 Dodge Caravan, causing minor damage to the right passenger door. No injuries were reported in the incident.

02/13/17 13:50 204th St / FISHER DR, LONG PRAIRIE, MN 56347 Theft
On Monday, February 13th the Sheriff’s Office received several reports of ice houses that were broken into sometime the previous night. The ice houses were located on Latimer Lake, Lake Osakis, Pine Island Lake, Thunder Lake, and Big Lake. Through the course of the investigation, Deputies, along with the assistance of the Long Prairie Police Department, identified several suspects and conducted searches recovering a large amount of the stolen items. Eighteen year old Jordan Salber of rural Browerville, eighteen year old Hayden Host of Browerville, and a juvenile male party from Long Prairie are currently under arrest and are being held at the Todd County Detention Center for charges related to the case. Charges are pending against three other juveniles that were involved.
Victims of the reported burglaries have identified some of the recovered property. Todd County Sheriff’s Office is asking that fish house owners check their houses on area lakes. Please call and report if your house has been broke into as soon as possible. If you have information about these burglaries or need to report one, please call the TCSO at 1-800-794-5733.

02/11/17 09:54 28926 Pacer Dr, BROWERVILLE, MN 56438 Damage to Property
On 2-10-2017 A vehicle had slid through the intersection at Overland Drive and Pacer Drive in Sullivan Shores going into a yard and hitting several shrubs, the vehicle then left the scene.

02/08/17 17:35 County 11 / County 96, OSAKIS, MN 56360 Lake Incident
On 2/8/2017 at approximately 1735 hours a half ton pickup broke through the ice on Little Sauk Lake in Little Sauk Township. The pickup was not far off the public access where ice depth varied greatly on that part of the lake. Citizens are reminded to be sure that the ice is thick enough before traveling on any lake. No one was injured in the incident.

02/07/17 14:53 23588 BLUE SPRUCE RD, SAUK CENTRE, MN 56378 Fire
On 2-7-17 the Todd County Sheriffs Office along with Grey Eagle and Sauk Centre Fire Departments responded to a structure fire on Blue Spruce Rd. Tammy and Mark Bruder’s well house caught on fire and was a loss. There were no injuries during the fire.

02/06/17 22:22 County 16 / 265TH AVE, BROWERVILLE, MN 56438 Car Deer
On 2/6/2017 at 2222 hours Barbara Schmidt (57) of rural Cushing called in to report hitting a deer. Schmidt struck the deer on County 16 just east of County 61, Schmidt was uninjured but her 2013 Toyota sustained front end damage.

02/04/17 23:15 15080 Gardenia Dr, OSAKIS, MN 56360 Damage to Property
On 2-4-17 the Todd County Sheriffs Office received a damage to property report that occurred on Lake Osakis. At approximately 2230 hours two ATVs were driving erratically when one collided with a generator. Owner of the generator identified the ATV as being red, possibly a Honda, that was with another ATV or possibly a side-by-side. Anyone with information on this incident please contact the Todd County Sheriffs Office.

02/02/17 19:00 34552 COUNTY 1, EAGLE BEND Car Deer
On 2-2-17 Todd County Sheriffs Office received a report of a car vs deer. Devona Hlatky, 67 of Eagle Bend, was traveling on County 1 when her vehicle collided with a deer. No injuries occurred during the incident.

02/02/17 07:36 13029 COUNTY 38, EAGLE BEND, MN 56446 Car Deer
On 2/2/17, at approximately 0736 hours, Wesley Schmidt of rural Long Prairie struck a deer on County 38 east of County 1 in Leslie Township. Schmidt was driving a 2016 Ford Super Duty which sustained passenger side damage. Schmidt was not injured in the accident.

02/01/17 19:15 County 7 / County 26, BROWERVILLE, MN 56438 Car Deer
On 2/1/17 shortly before 1915 hours Roger Mcginley (65) of rural Bertha hit a deer on Co Rd 7 just west of Co Rd 26. Mcginley was uninjured but the 2002 Chevy truck he was driving sustained damage.
