This past year the pandemic affected our communities, state and world in ways unimaginable, and there still is some uncertainty about what lies ahead. For this reason, CentraCare will not be holding the Earth Day Run in 2021. While this decision was difficult, CentraCare’s No. 1 goal is to keep runners, volunteers, spectators and sponsors safe.
The Earth Day Run requires year-round planning. As a health care organization, CentraCare is focusing its efforts on caring for those affected by COVID-19 and managing its impacts on the community. These activities limit the ability to plan for an event that is the size and caliber of the Earth Day Run.
CentraCare will continue to promote wellness in Central Minnesota through online education and programming that focuses on eating better, moving more and living joyfully.
