A bull is seen in the ditch along I-94 near Sauk Centre early this morning.

Deputies responded to an animal complaint of a bull walking close to the highway near the Sauk Centre exit on Interstate 94. Deputies and officers from the Sauk Centre Police Department attempted to locate the bull but were unsuccessful.

A few hours later, Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received another call from MN State Patrol of a black bull on the shoulder of Interstate 94 near mile marker 124.

Deputies located the bull on the southwest side of the interstate in the ditch. The animal appeared to be a black Angus bull with two ear tags.

Deputies were unable to locate the owner of the bull despite contacting several farms in the area.

The bull is being kept in a pasture of a local farmer until the owner can be reached. Please contact our Office at 320-251-4240 with any inquiries.
