Addie Lucille Young

Addie Lucille Young, age 99 of Sauk Centre, formerly of Grey Eagle, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at St. Benedict’s Care Center in St. Cloud due to Covid-19.
Addie Lucille Dickinson was born June 26, 1921 in Hewitt, MN. She was one of 11 children born to Asel and Dora Dickinson. In 1939 she married William (Pat) Young of Grey Eagle, MN. They farmed in the Grey Eagle area. They had three children.
Addie was very active in her community. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Senior Citizens and the Sunshine Girls. She enjoyed cooking and baking for these groups. Addie was a mail carrier for the USPS for several years in the Grey Eagle area.
Addie is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her husband Pat, and two children: Patsy and Gary.
She is survived by one child, Jenyce Young, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Addie will be missed for her great attitude, her humor and her compassion.
There will be a graveside service this coming summer or fall of 2021.
