Alan “Al” J. Kok

Memorial services will be 11 AM Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Williams Dingmann Funeral Home, Long Prairie for Alan “Al” J. Kok, 76, of Long Prairie who passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018. Deacon Thomas McFadden will officiate and burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Long Prairie. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday.
Al was born on March 21, 1942 to Henry and Helen (Laumeyer) Kok. He worked as a mechanic for Newman Motor Company for many years. Al enjoyed reading, guns, hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include brothers, Gerhardt (Helen) Kok of Virginia, MN and David (Barbara) Kok of Minnetonka; other family; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene Hogan and Odelia Watkins; and brothers, Ken and Jerome.
