ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists traveling through St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids over the Independence Day holiday will discover a smooth ride as all new permanent lanes of Highway 10 and Highway 15 in St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids are now open.
Both directions of Highway 10 between East St. Germain Street and County Road 33, and a short segment of Highway 15 at Highway 10, have been reduced to a single lane most days since April 1 while crews reconstructed the road.
While the project is now substantially complete, motorists will encounter intermittent, non-rush hour lane and ramp closures July 6 through the end of July while crews complete their work. The project will result in new pavement, improved drainage and a smoother ride on Highway 10 and Highway 15, and ensure the roads continue to serve the state for many years.
Highway 10 and Highway 15 are important freight and tourism routes, supporting the state’s metro and rural economies. To learn more about how MnDOT and transportation funding, visit Get Connected at www.mndot.gov/getconnected.
