American Legion Aux. Post 350 October 9, 2014

The American Legion Auxiliary Post 350 met Thursday, October 9 at 1 p.m. at the Upsala Community Center with President Judy Heisick presiding. Pledge of Allegiance and the Preamble to the Constitution was recited.
Chaplain Josie Roering led us in prayer followed with a moment of silence honoring our heroes. Roll call followed with 9 members present.
Reports by the secretary and treasurer were lead and approved.
Reminder of Morrison County Governing Board meeting at Bowlus Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Poppies have been ordered for the coming year.
The following items of business were donations to: Camp Ripley Memorial Cemetery Christmas wreaths for graves, gift shop, $5 Bill Sharver and ALA Hospital.
Those visiting St. Cloud VA October 16 will be Margie Lehner, Josie Roering and Mary Jane Blonigen. Motion made and seconded for an article to be in the Hometown News. A reminder to the ladies the Auxiliary organization is 96 years old. Our next meeting will be February 2015 at the Upsala Community Center at 1 p.m.
A motion made by Colleen Lokken and seconded by Evonne Johnson to adjourn the meeting. Respectfully submitted,
