Antoinette C. “Annette” Breth, age 69 of Albany, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 18 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony with Rev. Michael Naughton, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony. Parish prayers will be at 4 p.m. Friday evening at the church.
Antoinette Catherine Austing was born January 2, 1943 in St. Rosa Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Lawrence and Julitta (Stoermann) Austing. Annette worked as a cook at the St. Cloud Hospital after graduation from Melrose High School. On June 8, 1965 she married Stephen Breth at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony. The couple lived on the family farm near St. Anthony since their marriage until their retirement in 2003. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony. Annette enjoyed gardening and playing cards with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Breth of Albany; children, Roger (Cindy) Breth of Albany, Jerry (Tammy) Breth of Albany, LuAnn (Tim) Jopp of Albany and Mike (Stephanie) Breth of Albany; grandchildren, Dillon, Miranda, Makayla, Emily, Rebecca, Ashley and Hailey all at home.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Julitta Austing.
Serving as casket bearers will be Roger Breth, Cindy Breth, Jerry Breth, LuAnn Jopp, Tim Jopp, and Mike Breth. Cross bearer will be Emily Breth and scripture bearer will be Makayla Breth. Honorary bearers will be Dillon Breth, Miranda Breth, Rebecca Breth, Ashley Breth and Hailey Breth.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Melrose.
