First Todd County COVID-19 Related Death

As of June 4, 2020, Todd County has 340 lab confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19). Local transmission of the virus is occurring. On June 4, 2020, Todd County received notification of its first COVID-19 related death. Rita E. Niehaus, age 94 of Melrose, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the CentraCare Hospital in Melrose, Minnesota. Private family services will be held at a later date.
