Bernice Raden, 94, Avon, MN

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon for Bernice Raden, 94, of Avon who died Sunday, August 12. Rev. Blane Wasnie, OSB, will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 10:00am on Thursday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Avon.

Bernice was born to Rochus and Meri (Ostoj) Symanietz on October 7, 1917 in St. Anna. She married Alois Raden on June 16, 1942 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Anna. Alois and Bernice lived and farmed in the Avon area and were members of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church.
Bernice is survived by her sisters, Monica Frank of St. Cloud and Alvina Gervais of St. Paul.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alois on April 21, 1991; brothers, Phillip, Bernard, Stanley, Lawrence and Thomas; sisters, Elizabeth Merten, Pearl Dockendorf, Mary Wochnick, Theresa Wochnick and Kathryne Prow.
