Betty Jane (Raisl) Timp, of Freeport, passed away May 1, 2020.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Freeport Community Center.
Betty was born June 25, 1950. She worked at the Melrose school as a kitchen staff substitute, Jennie-O Foods in Melrose, and was co-owner of The Leaning Post Bar in New Munich.
Betty is survived by brothers: Raymond “Butch (Judy) Raisl, Robert “Bob” Raisl, and William “Bill” (Patty) Raisl; children: Kenneth “Ken” (Jodi) Timp, Melisa Kubian, Jeremi (Karen) Timp, and Aaron (Kimberlee) Timp, and grandchildren: Kirsten Kubian, Travis Timp, Serena Timp, Sean Timp, Andrew Timp, Michael Kubian, Annabelle Timp, and Jayce Timp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Timp; mother, Vera (Boese) Raisl; father, James Raisl; sister, Elaine Raisl; and brother, Kenneth Raisl.
