The regular meeting of the Town Board of Burnhamville Township was held November 24, 2015 at the Burtrum Community Center. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Mike Berscheit. Members present include Supervisors: Mike Berscheit and Bruce Johnson; Clerk Shirley Hulinsky; Treasurer Pam Throener. Sup. Louis Thompson was on speaker phone. Others present: Erv Herdering.
The minutes from the regular meeting of October 27, 2015 were approved as presented on a motion by Sup. Berscheit. Motion was seconded by Sup. Johnson. Motion passed.
For correspondence the township received notice from the City of Grey Eagle about the annual fire meeting on November 17 and the fire bill which included an unpaid fire call. Also, received bill for the resolution recording and notice of taxes paid.
A motion was made by Sup. Berscheit to pay all bills numbered 5185 through 5197: Rev. $812.26; R & B $6,512.81; Fire $9,339.04. Sup. Johnson seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Flicker Road speed zone signs were installed and resolution was registered at the county.
Sup. Berscheit was called to check out a complaint of trees leaning on a shed. Upon inspection supervisor noted the trees were not on township property. Land owner needs to remove them.
In the road report the contractor is doing a final road blading before freeze up.
Treasurer’s report showed a balance of $64,819.94. Treasurer’s report was approved by Sup. Berscheit and seconded by Sup. Johnson. Motion passed.
Sentence to Serve crew has not started to trim trees on Dunlin Road. Supervisor was in contact and the county still plans on doing it, but they are short on help.
A motion was made by Sup. Berscheit to adjourn the meeting which was seconded by Sup. Johnson. Motion passed. Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m. Next regular meeting will be on December 29, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Burtrum Community Center.
