Landowners and contractor for Forest Lane were present to ask supervisors if improvements were up to standards. Supervisors said it looked like a good amount of class 5 gravel was applied and the turnaround is good. There was an issue with rain washing the road in one area and a resident said that was taken care of. Also, one shed is too close to the road and may cause an issue with the snow plow. Overall the board said the road looked good and the residents said they would go ahead with the next steps of paying the contractor and getting the road petition signed.
A resident of 184th St. by Moose Lake contacted a supervisor to ask for that road to be bladed. That road is not a township maintained road and landowners are responsible for maintenance.
Supervisors are working on weed inspections. Thistles are very bad by Flicker Road and Essex Drive. Poison ivy and thistles are very bad also in ditches by Ermine Drive and Dunlin Road. Supervisor will go out with sprayer to control weeds in these areas.
In the road report the fence on 331st Ave still too close to the road. Maintenance personnel will not be liable for damage to fence during road and road right of way maintenance.
