Burnhamville Township • June 29, 2021

The regular meeting of the Town Board of Burnhamville was held June 29, 2021 at the Burtrum Community Center. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Mike Berscheit. Members present include Supervisors: Bruce Johnson, Mike Berscheit, Joe Muellner; Clerk Shirley Hulinsky; Treasurer Pam Throener. Erv Herdering was also present.
The minutes from the regular meeting of May 25, 2021 were approved as presented on a motion by Sup. Johnson and was seconded by Sup. Berscheit. Motion passed.
For correspondence the township received letters about taxes received an update on Planning and Zoning, web design offer and clean-up day review.
Sup. Johnson made a motion to accept the ditch mowing bid from Mike Berscheit. Motion was seconded by Sup. Muellner. Sup. Berscheit abstained. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Sup. Berscheit to pay all bills numbered 6110 through 6124: Rev. $26,630.92; R & B $33,864.14. Sup. Muellner seconded the motion. Motion passed.
In the road report the contractor should be done with dust control. There were several areas where they had to haul and apply water to the road before dust control could be done. He will continue on the road inspection list.
Time to do weed inspections around the township. Supervisors divided up the area for inspection coverage.
Treasurer’s report showed a balance of $144,271.43. Sup. Berscheit motioned to approve and Sup. Muellner seconded motion. Motion passed.
After discussion, Sup. Johnson made a motion to transfer $25, 000.00 from checking to savings account. Sup. Berscheit seconded the motion. Motion passed with all voting in favor.
A motion was made by Sup. Berscheit to adjourn the meeting which was seconded by Sup. Muellner. Motion passed. Meeting was adjourned at 7:33 p.m. Next regular meeting will be on Tuesday, July 27 at 7 pm in the Burtrum Community Center.
