The regular meeting of the Town Board of Burnhamville Township was held November 25, 2014 at Burtrum Community Center. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Mike Berscheit. Members present include Supervisors: Louis Thompson, Mike Berscheit and Bruce Johnson; Clerk Shirley Hulinsky; Treasurer Pam Throener. Others present: Erv Herdering.
Sup. Johnson made a motion to approve the minutes from the regular meeting of October 28, 2014. Motion was seconded by Sup. Thompson. Motion passed.
Correspondence included an e-mail request for information on maintenance on Dogwood Loop, worker’s comp forms and notices of Planning and Zoning and Grey Eagle fire meetings.
A motion was made by Sup. Berscheit to pay all bills numbered 5036 through 5054: Rev. $1,769.39; R&B $5,462.80. Sup. Thompson seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The board received an application for a beer license from the Swanville Lions for the Long Lake Fishing tournament on February 21, 2015. Sup. Berscheit made a motion to approve license. Sup. Thompson seconded the motion. Motion passed.
In the road report the contractor and board will watch for problem areas as they come up. Sanding the icy roads is ineffective in the really cold weather as the sand mixture just bounces off the hard driving surface. The general election in Burnhamville Township had a 63% turnout.
Treasurer’s report showed a balance of $24,413.01. Treasurer’s report was approved by Sup. Berscheit and seconded by Sup. Johnson. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Sup. Berscheit to adjourn the meeting which was seconded by Sup. Johnson. Motion passed. Meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m. Next regular meeting will be on December 30, 2014 at 7 p.m. in the Burtrum Community Center. Shirley Hulinsky, Clerk
