Burtrum City • August 4, 2014

The meeting of the Burtrum City Council was called to order at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 by Mayor Allen. All members were present.
Minutes of the July 7, 2014 meeting were read and approved on a motion by Kevin Wunderlich and seconded by Anna Payne. Upon vote motion carried.
Finance report was read and approved on a motion by Anna Payne and seconded by Kevin Wunderlich. All members voted in favor, motion carried. Checks number 7267 thru 7275 were approved for payment on a motion by Anna Payne and seconded by Kevin Wunderlich. All voted in favor, motion carried.
The open council member position was filled by appointing Beau Krueger until the Nov. election on a motion by Kevin Wunderlich and seconded by Anna Payne. Upon vote motion carried. Beau then took the oath of office.
Letter from Peters and Churchwell was read regarding the condition of several properties in town. The council will hold a public hearing to order the repair or razing of these properties on Sept. 2, 2014 at the Community Center at 7:30 p.m. on a motion by Kevin Wunderlich and seconded by Anna Payne. All voted in favor, motion carried.
Contract from the County Attorney was read and approved on a motion by Beau Krueger and seconded by Kevin Wunderlich. Upon vote motion carried.
Clerk reminded council of Primary Election on August 12th. Anna Payne, Kevin Wunderlich, Janet Schinske, Debbie Strassburg, LuAnn Walker, Pam Ehrenburg, and the Clerk were appointed as election judges.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Anna Payne and seconded by Kevin Wunderlich. Upon vote motion carried. These are unapproved minutes.
