Burtrum City • August 1, 2016

These are unapproved minutes.
The meeting of the Burtrum City Council was called to order at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 1st, 2016 by Mayor Ron Strassburg. Those who were in attendance included Ronald Strassburg, Deb VanHavermaet, Kaitlynn Bollig, and Beau Krueger.
The minutes from the July 7th, 2016 City Council meeting were read and approved by a motion made by Deb VanHavermaet and seconded by Beau Krueger, upon vote motion carried.
Next, the finance report was read and approved by a motion by Beau Krueger and seconded by Deb VanHavermaet, upon vote motion carried. Outstanding bills were discussed and a motion to pay outstanding bills was made by Beau Krueger and seconded by Deb VanHavermaet, upon vote motion carried and outstanding bills were paid.
The City Council discussed old business including, but not limited to local residences and further action needed, road blading, and previous letter sent to a local resident.
Next the City Council discussed new business including but not limited to, updating/renewing worker’s compensation insurance, and purchasing a printer for the City Hall.
In observance of Labor Day, the City Council meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
As there was no further topics to discuss the meeting was adjourned by a motion made by Deb VanHavermaet and seconded by Beau Krueger, upon vote motion carried and the meeting was adjourned.
