The meeting of the Burtrum City Council was called to order at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 by Mayor Strassburg. All council members answered roll call.
Minutes of the July 6th, 2015 meeting were read and approved on a motion by Anna Payne and seconded by Deb VanHavermaet. All members voted in favor. Motion carried.
The finance report was read and approved on a motion by Beau Krueger and seconded by Kevin Wunderlich. Upon vote motion carried. Checks number 7421 thru 7429 were approved for payment on a motion by Deb VanHavermaet and seconded by Anna Payne. Upon vote motion carried.
Street lights in town were discussed. Motion was made by Beau Krueger and seconded by Kevin Wunderlich to change to LED bulbs. Motion approved upon vote.
Central MN Tractor Club requested a beer license for the Heritage Days on August 22 and 23. Request granted on a motion by Kevin Wunderlich and seconded by Beau Krueger. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
The swing set at the hall needs some repair. Motion was made by Beau Krueger and seconded by Anna Payne to have the work done.
Snow plow needs inspection.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Beau Krueger and seconded by Deb VanHavermaet.
Due to the Labor Day holiday, the next council meeting will be held on August 31, 2015 at 7 p.m.
