Burtrum City February 2, 2015

The meeting of the Burtrum City Council was called to order at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 by Mayor Strassburg. Anna Payne and Beau Krueger were absent.
Minutes of the January 5, 2015 meeting were read and accepted on a motion by Kevin Wunderlich and seconded by Deb VanHavermaet. Upon vote motion carried.
Finance report was given and accepted on a motion by Deb VanHavermaet and seconded by Kevin Wunderlich. Upon vote motion carried. Checks number 7346 thru 7352 were approved for payment on a motion by Kevin Wunderlich and seconded by Deb VanHavermaet. Upon vote motion carried.
After some discussion, a motion was made by Kevin Wunderlich and seconded by Deb VanHavermaet to order speed limit signs and the missing street signs. Upon vote motion carried.
Bob Veldkamp was at the meeting to ask for a gambling permit for the Tractor Club. After some discussion permit granted.
Clerk/Treas. presented the yearly financial report to the council. After reviewing it, a motion was made by Deb VanHavermaet and seconded by Kevin Wunderlich to accept it. Upon vote motion carried.
The new roof and other hall work is almost complete. The council appreciates the Lion’s Club for donating the money to pay for the work.
Being no further business, a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Kevin Wunderlich and seconded by Deb VanHavermaet. Motion carried. These are unapproved minutes.
