Burtrum City • February 7, 2022

The Burtrum City Council meeting was called to order at 7 pm on Monday, February 7, 2022 by Mayor Ron Strassburg.
In attendance was Ron Strassburg, Sharon Erickson, Sara Macho, Mitchell Bruggenthies, Chad Landowski and Laura Horvath.
Minutes from the January 6, 2022 meeting were read and approved: a motion to approve was made by Sharon Erickson and seconded by Sara Macho, upon vote motion was carried and minutes were accepted.
Next the finance report was read and approved; and the city discussed current bills/invoices; finance report was accepted, and bills were paid, with a motion made by Sharon Erickson seconded by Sara Macho.
Current Bills; Terri Veldkamp, Snow Plowing, Sheriff Bill, Christmas Lights non-metered
A motion for an estimate to reduce the echo/noise in the City Hall Building was accepted and approved with a motion made by Sharon Erickson and seconded by Sara Macho.
New Business: The Swanville Dollars for Scholars, President Teresa Giese, attended the meeting requesting the City approve the Swanville Dollars for Scholars to hold the gambling permit for the Burtrum Cabooze, effective March 1st. The Swanville DFS will share the responsibility with the Swanville Snodrifters Club. A motion was made and carried.
Old Business: No topics to discuss.
Since no further topics needed to be addressed the meeting was adjourned with a motion made by Sara Macho and seconded by Sharon Erickson, upon vote motion carried and meeting was adjourned.
Our next meeting will be held on March 7, 2022
