Burtrum City • January 4, 2021

The meeting of the Burtrum City Council was called to order at 7 pm on Monday, January 4, 2021 by Mayor Ron Strassburg.
In attendance was Ron Strassburg, Kevin Rohde, Sharon Erickson, Sara Macho, Mitchell Bruggenthies and Laura Horvath.
Minutes from the December 7th 2020 meeting were read and a motion made by Kevin Rohde and seconded by Sara Macho to approve the minutes, upon vote motion was carried and the minutes were accepted.
Next the finance report was read and approved and a motion made by Sara Macho and seconded by Kevin Rohde.
Next the city discussed the current bills/invoices and upon a motion made by Kevin Rohde and seconded by Mitchell Bruggenthies the bills were paid.
Next the City Council discussed old business and new business –
New Business – City attendees want to explore Natural gas options for the town, they would like to see a breakdown of costs and if possible, have a natural gas provider attend a city meeting. They also discussed community activities/events that would draw business to the area. Also, discussed was an option to post a Community Events Calendar and a Rental Contract for the Burtrum Community Hall on a bulletin board and online.
Old Business – Discussed topic related to the November City Election, MN Statutes, dogs off leashes being a burden to neighbors and the city ordinance.
Since no further topics needed to be discussed the meeting was adjourned by a motion from Sharon Erickson and seconded by Kevin Rohde, upon vote motion carried and meeting was adjourned.
