Burtrum City • June 6, 2021

The Burtrum City Council meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2021 by Mayor Ron Strassburg.
In attendance were Ron Strassburg, Kevin Rohde, Sharon Erickson, Sara Macho, Mitchell Bruggenthies and Laura Horvath.
Minutes from the May 3rd, 2021 meeting were read and approved by a motion made by Sharon Erickson and seconded by Kevin Rohde, upon vote motion was carried and minutes were accepted.
Next the finance report was read and approved; and the city discussed current bills/invoices and a motion made by Mitchell Bruggenthies and seconded by Sara Macho, finance report was accepted, and bills paid.
City discussed old/new business.
New Business : -City was unable to spray due to it being so dry.
– City did check into putting signs up by the curve, still waiting to hear from the Hwy. Dept.
-Saturday, June 26th is the Volleyball tournament – water is turned on and porta potty up
– City is working on gopher holes in ball park and field
Old Business: – City approved putting a slab of cement outside of Hall – we are still waiting to hear from contractor – city approved adding more tables
– City is going to get a post for the yield sign that knocked over
Since no further topics needed to be addressed the meeting was adjourned with a motion made by Kevin Rohde and seconded by Mitchell Bruggenthies, upon vote motion carried and meeting was adjourned.
