Burtrum City • March 1, 2021

The Burtrum City Council meeting was called to order at 7pm on Monday, March 1, 2021 by Mayor Ron Strassburg.
In attendance was Ron Strassburg, Kevin Rohde, Sharon Erickson, Sara Macho, Mitchell Bruggenthies and Laura Horvath.
Minutes from the February 1, 2021 meeting were read and approved by a motion made by Kevin Rohde and seconded by Mitchell Bruggenthies, upon vote motion was carried and minutes were accepted.
Next the finance report was read and approved by a motion made by Sara Macho and seconded by Kevin Rohde, finance report was accepted.
The city discussed the current bills/invoices and upon a motion made by Sara Macho and seconded by Sharon Erickson bills were paid.
Old business – we are still waiting to hear an update from Greater Gas company, this year city discussed adding more gravel for dust control and updating ditch/culvert options.
New business – Clean up day will be May 22nd, location for clean up day will be provided in our May meeting. City discussed and approved installation for a speed/radar sign, motion made by Sara Macho and seconded by Sharon Erickson, motion carried by all. The City of Burtrum’s Easter Egg Hunt is planned to take place on Saturday, April 3rd at 10:00am in Lion’s Park.
Since no further topics needed to be addressed the meeting was adjourned with a motion made by Sharon Erickson and seconded by Kevin Rohde, upon vote motion carried and meeting was adjourned.
