Burtrum City • March 7, 2022

The Burtrum City Council meeting was called to order at 7 pm on Monday, March 7, 2022 by Council Member Sharon Erickson in absence of Mayor Ron Strassburg.
In attendance was Sharon Erickson, Sara Macho, Mitchell Bruggenthies, Chad Landowski and Laura Horvath.
Minutes from the February 7, 2022 meeting were read and approved; a motion to approve was made by Sara Macho, and seconded by Chad Landowski, upon vote motion was carried and minutes were accepted.
Next the finance report was read and approved; the city discussed current bills/invoices; finance report was accepted, and bills were paid, with a motion made by Sharon Erickson and seconded by Sara Macho
Current Bills: Sheriff Bill
New Business: Building permit for residential home was approved, with a motion made by Mitchell Bruggenthies and seconded by Chad Landowski
City voted on approval for the Heritage Club raffle, with a motion made by Sara Macho and seconded by Sharon Erickson
Resolution approving State of Minnesota Reestablishing Precinct Boundaries and Designation of Polling Place Per M.S204B.14 SUBD 3 & M.S. 204B.16 SUBD 1 – Whereas Precinct 1 will encompass the entire CITY OF BURTRUM in Minnesota Legislative District 5B and Minnesota Congressional District 7 – Whereas, the polling place for the CITY OF BURTRUM remains the Burtrum Community Center/City Hall, 115 Main Street West, Burtrum MN – The CITY COUNCIL OF BURTRUM, MN re-establishes this location as the designated polling place for Precinct 1 in THE CITY OF BURTRUM in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 204B.16. Motion to approve was made by Sara Erickson and seconded by Sharon Erickson, motion carried.
Old Business: No old business discussed.
Since no further topics needed to be addressed the meeting was adjourned; with a motion made by Sara Macho and seconded by Mitchell Bruggenthies, upon vote motion carried and meeting was adjourned.
Our next meeting will be held on April 4, 2022.
