On September 9th Stearns County Deputies were patrolling in the area where Schneider had last been seen. A deputy found Schneider along Benton County Road 78 near Rice, in the ditch. Schneider admitted she laid in the ditch when cars approached to try to avoid being found. On September 6th the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a missing person complaint in the Northeast portion of the county. Rebecca Ann Schneider, 46, of Royalton had left her daughter’s residence on foot. She suffers from mental illness including paranoia and depression.
