Commander Jay Salzer advised that on April 27th, 2020, the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of the 8th Avenue South, in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns.
Investigators from the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force (CMVOTF) learned that one of the tenants of this residence was involved in the distribution of controlled substances, including Methamphetamine, Heroin, and Cocaine.
During the search warrant, Investigators located the tenant, Don Dejuan Lee, 58 years old from St. Cloud. Investigators also located substances believed to be Heroin, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and a .380 handgun along with ammunition.
Investigators transported Lee to the Stearns County jail where he is waiting charges on 2nd degree possession of controlled substance, two 5th degree possession of controlled substance charges, and ineligible person in possession of firearm.
The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force was assisted by the St. Cloud Police Department. The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force is comprised of Investigators from the St. Cloud and Sartell Police Departments, along with deputies from Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Todd and Morrison Counties.
