Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force

Commander Steve Soyka reports that on March 28th, 2017, the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force conducted a search warrant at the address of 3001 7th Street North, City of St. Cloud in regards to the distribution of controlled substances. At the time of the warrant several parties were present including the renter, identified as Jordan Michael Childs, 25 yo, of St. Cloud.
During the search, approximately 212 grams of marijuana, 136 grams of marijuana wax, 2.5 grams of heroin and several fentanyl patches were located. $1500.00 in U.S. Currency was also seized. As a result of the items found the following were arrested;
Haley Katherine Goodrow, 19 yo, St. Cloud, charged with 2 counts of 5th degree possession and child endangerment. Jordan Michael Childs, 25 yo, of St. Cloud, charged with 2 counts of 5th degree possession and 1 count of 3rd degree sales of controlled substance. Angela Mae Olson, 34 yo, of St. Cloud arrested on 2 outstanding warrants. James Michael Skaj, 22 yo, of St. Cloud, charged with 2 counts of 5th degree possession and child endangerment. Skaj was located at his place of employment and placed under arrest by investigators. All arrested parties were transported to the Stearns County jail to await court proceedings.
An infant boy was also present at the time of the search warrant and was placed with Stearns County Social Services due to the arrests and the overall condition of the residence. The task force was assisted by the St. Cloud Police Department Community Crime Impact Team and Gold Cross Ambulance. The task force is comprised of officers from the cities of St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, and Little Falls and deputies from Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Todd and Morrison Counties.
