Commander Steve Soyka advises that in the early morning hours of June 22nd, 2017, the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force, in conjunction with the St. Cloud Police Department SWAT team conducted a search warrant at the address of 345 19th Avenue North, City of St. Cloud. At the time of the warrant several family members were present including the suspect identified as Antoine Lemar Dodd, 30 yo, of St. Cloud.
During the search of the residence a small amount of marijuana was located. Investigators had reason to believe that Dodd had concealed additional controlled substances in his body cavity at the time the SWAT team made entry. Dodd was transported to the Stearns County Jail for further searching and during this additional search, 36.5 grams of cocaine was located. Also located on his person was approximately $1500.00 in US Currency. The cash is subject to forfeiture. Dodd was placed under arrest for 2nd Degree possession of a controlled substance and held at the Stearns County Jail. The family members present at the time of the warrant will not be charged with any crimes.
The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force was assisted by the St. Cloud Police Department SWAT team, the St. Cloud Police Department K-9 unit and Patrol division. The task force is comprised of officers from the St. Cloud, Little Falls and Sauk Rapids Police Departments, along with deputies from Stearns, Sherburne, Benton, Todd and Morrison County Sheriff Office’s.
