Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Carrie Poepping, age 74 of New Munich will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich. Father Daniel Walz will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service. Carrie Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 8, 2018. Friends may call one hour before Mass at Immaculate Conception
Carrie was born on March 17, 1944 to Henry & Bertha (Mitchell) Barhorst in Melrose, MN. She married Marvin on June 15, 1988 in Long Prairie. Carrie helped Marvin as a dispatcher/bookkeeper for their trucking business Poepping Express. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Tony) Polipnick, son Kyle (Jodi), grandchildren Jeremy (Angie) Polipnick, Brandon (Crystal) Polipnick, Amanda (James Dehn) Polipnick, Emily Polipnick, Kaylee Allen, and JT Allen. Great-grandchildren, Natalie Polipnick, Xander Kimble, Drayvin Polipnick, Amayndis Polipnick, Austin Harrison, Andy Harrison, and Steve Harrison. Sister Goose (Vern) Haskamp, Brothers Ray Barhorst, Rich (Rita) Barhorst, Sam (Tracy) Barhorst, and Ron Barhorst. Mother-in-Law Mildred Poepping. Many nieces and nephews, & friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Poepping in February 2011, her parents, two brothers, Ken Barhorst and Jim Barhorst and Father-in-Law Joe Poepping.
