The Paynesville Police Department, Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota BCA continue to actively investigate this case. Due to the potential nature of the case and multiple jurisdictions being involved, no further information is available at this time. Autopsy results from the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office are still pending and no charges have been filed in this matter. Numerous law enforcement officers, investigators and agents are actively working the case, following up potential leads, collecting video and other evidence and interviewing potential witnesses. We hope to have an updated news release available at approximately 5:30 p.m. At this time no one is available to comment on the investigation.
