Debra Determan, 59 year old resident of Little Falls died Saturday, September 8 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Debra Joan Stephan was born on October 25, 1958 in Long Prairie ten minutes before her twin sister, Denise to the late Albert and Vivian (Scott) Stephan. She grew up and attended school in Long Prairie graduating with the class of 1976. She was united in marriage to Michael Duane Determan on August 4, 1977 in Milbank, South Dakota. The couple made their home in Long Prairie. Debra worked as a bakery manager for the Holiday Grocery Store in Long Prairie until the family moved to Little Falls in 1991. She cared for her son Jason for many years as his personal care attendant. Debra enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidering, painting, flower gardens, gardening and all general arts. She enjoyed getting together with her friends at the St. Cloud Sewing Center.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael of Little Falls; son, Jason of Little Falls; daughter, Jessi (Roy) Petersen of St. Cloud; granddaughter, Estelle Petersen; sisters, Gretchen Kemp of Wheaton, Jackie Michels of Long Prairie, Susan (Vic) Schwinghamer of Blair, NE and her twin sister, Denise (Bill) Schillinger of Swanville and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Annette; nephews, Shawn and Joseph; brothers-in-law, Edward Kemp and Al Michels.
