Denise (Nicee) Violet Hurdt, 65 year old resident of Bowlus, MN passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will took place on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in North Prairie, MN with Father Greg Sauer officiating. Burial was in the Holy Cross Parish Cemetery in North Prairie, MN.
Denise Violet Staneart was born on April 20, 1956 in St. Cloud, MN to the late Emerson and Dorothy (Beack) Staneart. After Dorothy passed away Emerson remarried Mamie Perry. Denise attended school in Sartell and after graduation, she was united in marriage to Donald Hurdt on June 14, 1975 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in North Prairie.
Denise is survived by her husband, Donnie; children, Mike (April), JohnPaul (Stacy), Laura Posterick (Mark), and Danny (Pam); 8 grandchildren, Lacy, Lili, Hailey, Justin, Keeley, Kyson, Derek and Amber; great-grandchildren, Gabe, Allie, Elias, and Caleb; sister, Jean Folkerts (Ron); brothers, Bruce Staneart (Barb), Richard Staneart (Ellen); step-sisters, Ruth Brown (Roger), Linda Guinn (Don), Sue Stang (Jeff), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Denise was proceeded in death by her parents, Emerson and Dorothy Staneart; step-mother (Mamie) and niece, Brenda Diers.
