By Bob Pallansch, Sr.
The Double ‘R’ held their 12th Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 9th. Proceeds went to the Grey Eagle Fire Department, which amounted to over $4,000 this year.
With 112 players, making up 28 teams, most finished before the rain started.
First Place (gross) went to Mike Walter’s Body Shop. They won a $100 gift certificate from the Double ‘R’.
First Place (net) went to Jim Spence’s team from Big Birch Lake. They won 4 golf bags from Bernick’s Dist.
Pam Klaphake won a Lite cooler for being closest to the old Oak tree.
John Weise Ford, Sauk Centre had a hole in one prize of a 2012 Ford Fusion on hole #6. No one won it this year. One of these years, hopefully someone will win it!
