Funeral Services for Edmond Geisenhof will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie. Interment will take place at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Edmond passed away December 27, 2018.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
Edmond was born October 19, 1945, in Long Prairie, to Charles & Edna (Koester) Geisenhof. He enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1963. In September 1967, Edmond married Sharon Carstensen. In October 1983, he married Gloria Triebenbach. Edmond worked with his brother Steve for many years as co-owner/operator of Geisenhof Construction. He also worked as a policeman and was a volunteer fireman for over 20 years. In his later years, he did lawn mowing and snow removal for many years.
Edmond is survived by his wife of 35 years Gloria; children: Sandi (Berdell) Poppen, Janet (Jim) Tuchtenhagen; grandchildren: Stephanie, Maddie, Abbey, Ben, Dana, Jack and Jessica; great grandchildren: Athena, Reyna, Eli and brother Lloyd Geisenhof.
Edmond is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Edna; siblings: Marie Geisenhof, Annabel Tesch, Joe Geisenhof, Steve Geisenhof, Jeanette Perish and wife Sharon Carstensen.
