Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon for Elenor Budde who passed away on Tuesday at Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Fr. Greg Miller, OSB and Fr. Blaine Wasnie, OSB officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.
Elenor was born in Holdingford, MN to John & Victoria (Kociemba) Bieniek Sr. She married Cyril B. Budde on May 21, 1949 in Holdingford. She was a stay at home mother to her family of six. She loved to cook, bake, tending to her garden and flowers, canning, quilting & sewing, camping, fishing at every chance she got and playing cards. Her pride and joy was her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Dean (De Anne) of Avon; Alcuin (Janet) of Cambridge; Victoria (Gary) Donnay of St. Cloud; Beverly (Eduard) Schneider of Fairhope, AL; Benedict (Joyce) of Avon; Mary (Kurt) Gunn of St. Joseph; siblings, Florence (Arnold) Vos; George (Hildy) Bieniek; John (Phyllis Ann) Bieniek; Thomas (Delores) Bieniek; sister-in-law Marie Bieniek; 19 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cyril on May 20, 2010; siblings, Andrew, Blaise and Alois Bieniek and Leona Pizziconi.
