Ellen Pufpaff, 69, of St. Cloud, passed away on August 29, 2017. Funeral services for Ellen will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at the Communities of Faith United Methodist Church in Clarissa with Pastor Kali Christensen officiating. Interment was held at Woodman Cemetery, Clarissa.
Ellen was born October 27, 1947, in Bertha, to Marlin Dale & Pearl (Swanson) Pufpaff. She attended school in Clarissa and graduated from Browerville High School. After graduation, Ellen attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She worked at Fairview for a short time then moved to Oregon. Ellen returned back to Minneapolis and worked at Fairview Southdale as an RN until she retired in 2004. In 2009, Ellen relocated to St. Cloud.
Ellen enjoyed fishing, shopping, gardening, reading and listening to public radio; she loved having the family all together.
Ellen is survived by her siblings: Douglas Pufpaff of Long Prairie, Deanna Pufpaff of Coon Rapids, Richard (Thu) Pufpaff of Big Lake and Cheri (Sam Nyassi) Pufpaff of St. Cloud; nieces and nephews: Sonya (Andrew) Lundstrom of Fisher, Alicia (Jason) Klein of Holdingford, Evan Pufpaff of St. Paul, Huy and Ben of Big Lake.
Ellen is preceded in death by her parents and sister Laurie.
