Elmer J. Sinderman, age 84 of Melrose, died peacefully on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the CentraCare Health Hospital in Melrose, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 22 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ronald Dockendorf officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11a.m. Wednesday at the church in Grey Eagle.
Elmer Joseph Sinderman was born August 1, 1933 in Grey Eagle Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Xavier and Lena (Biebol) Sinderman. He was raised in a family of 13 children. He worked for Hobart Company in Minneapolis for 30 years and then for Toro for 15 years. He was a member of AFL-CIO Machinists Union for 45 years. Elmer enjoyed his lake home for many years along with his cat, Willy.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Sinderman; daughters, Theresa (Tom) Sinderman, Tammy Hofer, and Amy (Dave) Denton; four grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tim Sinderman; and several brothers and sisters.
