Forrest E. Johnson

Forrest E. Johnson, age 95, died peacefully Friday, May 4, 2018 at his home in Burtrum, Minnesota.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Forrest Everett Johnson was born December 23, 1922 in Pillsbury, Minnesota to Claud and Ennice (Scott) Johnson. On October 6, 1951, he married Rose Berens in Long Prairie, Minnesota. The couple moved to Minneapolis and Forrest began working at TRW (Thomas, Raimer & Waldorf) from 1951 to 1984. After living in Minneapolis, they retired to the Burtrum area on Mound Lake where they call home. It is at their lake home where Forrest enjoyed watching nature from his front porch.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Rose Mary Johnson of Burtrum; and many nieces and nephews.
Forrest was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Wynnie (William) Pasch, Berniece (Don) Ludemann, Leila (Bill) Joyce, Myles (Crystal) Johnson, Velma (Zerl) Clay, Clyta (James) Landrum, and Claud Johnson.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Grey Eagle.
