Grey Eagle City • November 18, 2025

December 19, 2025 by Hometown News

The work session meeting (for the park) of the Grey Eagle City Council was called to order by Mayor Joseph Arnzen at 4:00 pm on the 18th day of November 2025 at 318 Maple Street North. Council members present were Brad Johnson and Chris Browen. Roland Ahrendt and Brian Hollenkamp were absent. Also in attendance was Beth Ramacher and guest: Tim Ainali.
The purpose of the work session was to discuss possible future projects for the park at 318 Maple Street North.
Discussion was held on the placement of the new Rainbow playground equipment which will be installed with funding from Sourcewell.
Discussion was held on the tractor pull track. An organization, with no affiliation to the City, will need to be started to fund and organize such events such as tractor pulls, demolition derbies and rodeos. Once the organization is established, a business plan would need to be made and presented to the City. After the business plan is reviewed and approved there will need to be a (lease) contract/agreement drawn up between the organization and the City before any work or events could take place.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:41 pm.
Beth Ramacher, Clerk/Treasurer
