The Truth in Taxation Meeting was called to order by Mayor Joseph Arnzen at 6:30 p.m. Council members present were Thom Muellner, Roland Ahrendt, Bill Pohlmann and Brian Hollenkamp. There were no council members absent. Also in attendance were Chico Hellmann and Lori Hellmann. There were no guests in attendance.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow residents the opportunity to discuss the budget and levy for 2019 with the council. It is the goal of the Council to work to keep the budget consistent from year to year, however with the cost of goods and services on the rise, the budget and levy will most likely see increases.
A motion was made by Brian Hollenkamp to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m. A second was made by Thom Muellner and upon vote, with all members voting in favor, motion carried.
