Call to Order: Ron Frericks called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. The pledge of allegiance was recited.
Members Present: Ron Frericks, Ray Bense, Mike Rohe & Mary Ann Primus.
Agenda Approval: A preliminary agenda was presented. Ron asked if there were any additions to the agenda. Ray made the motion to accept the agenda. Mike made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes: The clerk provided copies of the November 2, 2015 minutes to the board. Ray made the motion to approve the minutes as written. Mike made the second, all in favor. Minutes approved.
Town Clerk’s Report: Clerk presented the claims list for November. Claims list included 7 claims numbered 2875 thru 2881 for a total of $7,862.41. These claims included an unpaid fire call and the purchase of township camera. Ray made the motion to send a letter to the property owner of the unpaid fire call before having it put on the property taxes. Mike made the second, motion carried. Mike made the motion to approve the claims; Ray made the second, Motion carried unanimously. Mail included a letter from SWCD thanking the Board for their input, an invitation to a Region 5 summit, and a letter from Rinke Noonan law firm about a wetland conference coming up in February.
Discussion on putting some monies into a certificate of Deposit before the year end. Mike made a motion to put $50,000 into a General Fund CD and $50,000 into a R&B CD. Ray made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Road and Bridge Report: Ray reported the 450th St. stumps have been removed and cleaned up. A letter was sent to Chippewa Rd property owner that Ray had checked into the culvert situation and will follow up in the spring. Discussion of the Stearns Line Road: A representative from the Millwood Township board was present and discussion was had as to which township takes care of the brushing and mowing on a shared road and whether something should be in writing. It was decided to leave things as they are with the township alternating maintenance for the road surface and each township taking care of their ditches (mowing, brushing, signs, etc.). Erv H. stated the terms now are from April to April with Millwood taking the odd years and Grey Eagle has the even years starting in April. Mary Ann will draw up a resolution for each Township to sign so that we have documentation of the agreement.
Additional agenda items: Mike attended this years’ fire board meeting on November 17th. Mike stated that the Fire Dept. is still dealing with a lot of repeat calls for falls. Grey Eagle Township had 4 fire calls and 17 rescue calls for 2015.

Adjournment: Motion by Ray to adjourn the meeting. Mike made the second. Meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
