Call to Order: Ron Frericks called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. The pledge of allegiance was recited. Members Present: Ron Frericks, Ray Bense, Mary Ann Primus & Mike Rohe.
Agenda Approval: A preliminary agenda was presented. Ron asked if there were additions to the agenda. Having none, Ray made the motion to accept the agenda. Mike made the second. All in favor. Motion carried. Representatives from Aspen Drive sent letter, decided not to attend.
Approval of Minutes: The clerk provided copies of the January 5, 2015 minutes to the board. Ray made the motion to approve the minutes as written. Mike made the second, all in favor. Minutes approved.
Town Clerk’s Report: Clerk presented the claims list for January. Claims list included 7 claims for a total of $4,109.58. Ray made the motion to approve the claims; Mike made the second, Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Ray and 2nd by Mike to enter interest earnings under the General Fund. Motion carried unanimously. Offered W-4s to Board members for 2015. Letters received included the natural gas service meeting being held on Feb. 5, land stewardship letter and advertising.
Treasurer’s Report: Mary Ann Primus presented the treasurer’s report as follows: Beginning Balance as of January 1, 2015: $158,670.74; Checks cleared: 12, $7,947.68; Deposits including interest: $5,930.80; Balance as of January 31, 2015: $156,653.86; Outstanding Deposits: 0.00; Outstanding Checks: $203.32; Cash Available: $156,450.54; CD Balance: $122,739.41
Mike made the motion to accept the treasurer’s report. Second by Ray. All in favor, Motion carried.
Road and Bridge Report: Ray reported that he had a few calls for icy roads that needed sand and were taken care. Water backed-up along 130th E, but had receded by the next day. The new mileage rate is at 57.5 cents.
Additional agenda items: Audit meeting reminder, Monday in February. February 9, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.
Public Comment: Adjournment: Motion by Mike to adjourn the meeting. Ray made the second. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. Mary Ann Primus Clerk/Treasurer
