Grey Eagle Township February 6, 2017

These are unapproved minutes.
Call to Order: Ron Frericks called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. The pledge of allegiance was recited.
Members Present: Ron Frericks, Ray Bense, Mary Ann Primus & Mike Rohe.
Agenda Approval: A preliminary agenda was presented. Ron asked if there were additions to the agenda. Ray made the motion to accept the agenda. Mike made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes: The clerk provided copies of the January 9, 2017 minutes to the board. Mike made the motion to accept the minutes, Ray made the second. Minutes approved.
Town Clerk’s Report: Clerk presented the claims list for January. Claims list included 10 claims 3023-3032 for a total of $6,659.98. Ray made the motion to approve the claims; Mike made the second, Motion carried unanimously.
Mail included advertising from Cutting Edge Tree Service, Todd County has set the Equalization meeting for April 18, at 1:00 at the Town Hall, MN Power sent information on a rate increase, Todd County P & Z sent a notice of a request to create a two lot plat, a letter from the Pipeline Community Awareness Program, and a letter from the Land Stewardship Project.
Ron reported that he had received a call from the DNR stating they had no objection to the vacation of a portion of the Public Beach. Ron stated the Township would need something in writing before the public hearing.
Mike made a motion to allow the two CDs to renew on their maturity date. Ray made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Road and Bridge Report: Ray reported that he noticed the ice was heaving at the Big Birch Lake access. He asked Erv to check it over the weekend.

Adjournment: Motion by Mike to adjourn the meeting. Ray made the second. Meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
