Call to Order: Ron Frericks called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. The pledge of allegiance was recited.
Members Present: Ron Frericks, Ray Bense, Mary Ann Primus, Mike Rohe, and Erv Herdering.
Agenda Approval: A preliminary agenda was presented. Ron asked if there were additions to the agenda. Ray made the motion to accept the agenda. Mike made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes: Mike made the motion to accept the May 2, 2022 minutes. Ray made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Town Clerk’s Report: Clerk presented the claims list for May. Claims list included claims 3689-3697 for a total of $17,168.97 Mike made the motion to pay the claims. Ray made the second. All in favor. Motion carried. Mail included a letter about replacing the water meter and the updated population count. Ron had a survey request from the US Census Bureau and a letter from SWCD about the Todd County tour. Mary Ann presented a CD that was up for renewal. Mike made a motion to renew, Ron made the second. Motion carried. Financial report was reviewed and approved on a motion by Ray and a second by Mike. All in favor. Motion carried.
Road and Bridge Report: Mary Ann reported on the Preliminary Damage
Assessment meeting from the May 12 storm. Reviewed the quote for ditch mowing from Lee Buchholz for $85.00 per hour, plus fuel surcharge. Mike made the motion to accept the bid, second by Ray, motion carried. Road mileage certificate was signed by the chairman. Discussion on the brush cutting and high cost of fuel this year. Ron suggested maybe to wait. Another option would be to spray some of the bad areas. Ray will check with the sprayer on the cost and report at the next meeting.
Additional agenda item: Quote from Hinman Lawn Service was reviewed and Ron made a motion to approve at $45.00 per mowing and $200.00 for putting in and removing the dock. Mike made the second, all in favor, motion carried. July meeting will be held July 11, 2022.
