Call to Order: Ron Frericks called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. The pledge of allegiance was recited.
Members Present: Ron Frericks, Ray Bense, Mary Ann Primus, Mike Rohe and Erv Herdering.
Agenda Approval: A preliminary agenda was presented. Ron asked if there were additions to the agenda. Ray made the motion to accept the agenda. Mike made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes: Ray made the motion to accept the February 7, 2022 minutes.
Mike made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Town Clerk’s Report: Clerk presented the claims list for February. Claims list included claims 3658-3664 for a total of $10,208.52. Mike made the motion to pay the claims. Ray made the second. All in favor. Motion carried. Mail included an email about the class action lawsuit against Zoom, a Todd County Broadband survey, P&Z letter, short course information and a letter from Minnesota Local Transportation- snow and ice handbook for plow operators. Ron had a letter from M&R signs out of Fergus Falls.
An error was noted on the Treasurer’s report and will be corrected for next meeting.
Road and Bridge Report: Ray stated he had contacted the crack filling company and got on the list for this summer. Erv did say he had pushed snow back on some of the roads. On the tractor rental- we could add the tractor to the township’s insurance, however, the operator we hire would still need to carry liability insurance. Ron will meet this week with the contractor about repairs to the back room and will report next month.
Additional agenda item: Mary Ann contacted our general counsel at the Township Association and Steve Fenske said there is no need for a comprehensive plan if the Township is not doing it’s own Planning and Zoning.
Ray made a motion to approve the resolution Establishing the precincts and polling place for Grey Eagle Township. Mike made the second. All in favor. Motion carried.
Adjournment: Motion by Mike to adjourn the meeting. Ron made the second. Meeting adjourned at 8:50 pm.
